Hi! I'm Zoe Ramirez and this is my webpage for Computer Science 1! We are studying C#. It is my first year of computer science. It is difficult to learn but it's what I call hard fun. Aside from GITA, I am a freshman at BOHS and play on varsity basketball! I also enjoy skiing, traveling, and crafting.

Goodbye Program 9/12/2019 In this project, we learned how to use buttons to display the word "goodbye" in different languages along with a picture of the country's flag.

Mailing Label 9/19/2019 In this project, we learned how to organize information into a mailing label based on the data from a text box.

Car Rental 9/26/2019 In this project, we learned how to keep track of the number of miles driven, total charge, and displaying customer information for a car rental. We also learned to track manager information, including total amount received, number of cars returned, and average sale.

BMI Calculator 10/3/2019 In this project, we learned how to calculate a person's BMI and how they measure on the BMI chart when they enter their height and weight.

Car Rental Upgrades 10/7/2019 In this project, we learned how to keep track of a person renting one of three cars. We also learned how to charge a person based on their car choice and added extras.

Test Score Program 10/10/2019 In this project, we learned how to calculate a person's test percentage when they enter their score. It also calculates the letter grade of each test and compares the two test scores to see which one is higher.

Dice 10/15/2019 In this project, we learned how to calculate random numbers and dice graphics. We also learned how to calculate the probability of getting the sum of the dice and the number of times the user rolled them.

Craps Game 10/24/2019 In this project, we learned how to create a game of craps where the user can win with the roll of a number that equals their point.

T Shirt Program 10/30/2019 In this project, we learned how to calculate a t shirt order at Very Very Boards T Shirts. The user can select their size, quantity, and whether they want their shirt monogrammed or with a pocket.

Slot Machine 11/6/2019 In this project, we learned how to simulate a slot machine by having the user enter a bet and try to win the jackpot by getting three of the same images.

Rock Paper Scissors 11/15/2019 In this project, we learned how to allow two people to select rock, paper, or scissors, and compete to see who wins.

Fish 1 11/22/2019 Peppa, what are you doing in my fish tank? In this project, we learned how to simulate Peppa moving randomly and keeping track of how many times she bumps into the side of the tank.

Fish 2 12/12/2019 Peppa, what are you doing in my fish tank, again? In this project, we learned how to make George catch Peppa by randomly moving and keeping track of how many times they hit the sides of the tank.

NCAA Football 12/17/2019 In this project, we kept track of two teams in the NCAA SoFi Hawaii Bowl, where you can look up information about the school, both teams' playing schedule for the 2019 season, and the results of past bowls that they have been in.

Tic-Tac-Toe 1/9/2020 This game allows you to play a two player game of tic-tac-toe by clicking the box you want to move in.

N Factorial 1/15/2020 This project allows you to enter a number and calculate the sequence, odd numbers, even numbers, factorial, and fibonacci sequence of that number.

Basic AI Game 1/30/2020 Help the purple dinosaur defeat the evil triceratops before it's too late! Use the arrow keys to move and the spacebar to fire at the triceratops! If it catches you, you lose health so be careful!

Starfield 1/30/2020 This project simulates you moving through a field of stars.

Fish Aquarium 2/26/2020 In this aquarium, the shark tries to eat all the fish, while the boat tries to catch the fish on the hook.

Airplane 3/26/2020 In this project, Pikachu tries to kill Charizard by shooting electroballs at him.

Catastrophe 5/28/2020 This is my final project for GITA 1! I made this game myself with the skills I learned this year. The instructions are included with the game!
